Little Swimmers
When first embarking onto an independent swimming path we offer a very soft approach as we know how hard this can be. We build on foundation skills and help swimmers to find their water balance and confidence in the pool.
In these classes we build the foundations for swimming. We provide a secure environment to create a bond with parents in the water. Teaching the parents holds and moves allows free movement and exploration in the pool. We also Incorporate safety aspects into our lessons and free playtime to allow self exploration. We always keep in mind the different developmental stages of our swimmers which can influence their participation and enjoyment.
Advanced
Once our swimmers reach a certain ability we move them onto a coaching approach to swimming where we build stamina, perfect strokes and teach starts and turns including dives where the depth allows.
Improvers
We move our swimmers through different ability classes when they are ready, learning and improving those all important skills and strokes as they go.
